The problem

Indian building contractors run sites on registers, WhatsApp groups and a bookkeeper's spreadsheet. Labour attendance, material issue, equipment fuel, vendor bills and RA billing each live somewhere different, so nobody can say what a site actually costs until months after it is finished.

What I built

SiteLeader is a multi-tenant platform where every operational event feeds one cost ledger. Attendance becomes wages, material issue becomes consumption, equipment logs become running cost — automatically. On top of that sits Indian commercial reality: BOQ quotations with rate analysis, CGST/SGST/IGST invoices, and Running Account bills with retention, mobilisation and TDS. Access is governed by a four-layer permission model — role, module grant, granular custom role, then row-level data scope and field visibility.

What it does

  • Sites, daily progress reports, weighted milestones and safety incidents
  • Labour master, kiosk PIN self clock-in, overtime and wage advances
  • Material catalogue, stock in/out, inter-site transfers and min-stock alerts
  • Vendor bills, payments and outstanding balances
  • Equipment fleet with usage, fuel and maintenance logs
  • Cost-code ledger auto-synced from operational events, with approvals
  • BOQ quotations, GST invoices and RA bills with retention and TDS
  • AI building design with Vastu-compliance scoring and photoreal rendering
  • RBAC role builder, audit log, scheduled CSV saved views
  • PWA with offline update banner, English / Hindi / Marathi

The outcome

A contractor sees live cost per site instead of a reconciliation months later. Clients get a read-only portal via share token with no login. The whole console is an installable PWA in English, Hindi and Marathi, because site supervisors do not work in English.
